’Southern Society is Birmingham-Southern’s preeminent annual giving donor recognition society. These alumni, parents, and friends who give at this leadership level ensure that ’Southern has the resources and the people necessary to provide the experience that our students desire—the experience that will don't be a spectator; be the difference help them make the world a better place. Their contributions and commitment to our institution have a tremendous impact on the quality of education and the life lessons that our students receive at Birmingham-Southern College.

In appreciation to our alumni, parents, and friends who invest $1,000 annually, we are enhancing the ’Southern Society. Members of the 2008 ’Southern Society will receive the satisfaction of knowing that you are helping provide the BSC experience to our outstanding students and receive:

an invitation to the President’s Reception during the Homecoming Football and Alumni Reunion weekend each fall, and
an invitation and advance notice to other campus events throughout the year, and
