John McGinnis

After four years of “treading the boards” in the Birmingham-Southern College Theatre, I graduated with a B.A. in Theatre Arts. I’ve worked in professional theatre from here to Boston and am currently creating new works here in my hometown of Birmingham. I’ve lived in four states and three countries – including three and a half years in China – but I’ve always come home to the Magic City. I work with two amazing groups of students and their families – those from Middle Tennessee and those from outside of the United States. As the International Admission Counselor here on The Hilltop, I have the pleasure of getting to know students from around the world who want to come to BSC … and sometimes I get to visit them in their home countries as well. I enjoy traveling (whether in Nashville or Nanjing!), exercising, and spending time with my fantastic family and friends.
