Student Printing

Each student will receive a $30.00 credit for printing each fall and spring term. You may add to your printing balance and have your Student Account charged if you need additional print dollars. Any dollars added must be used for printing and will not be refundable. However, rollover dollars from term to term in the same academic year (fall, winter, spring and summer) will apply.

Planning will be important to avoid running low on print dollars at critical times of the term. To help you be mindful of that fact, the system has a soft limit to begin reminding you at the $1.00 mark that your print allowance is approaching zero. That soft limit will extend into a deficit amount of minus $3.00, which is the hard limit. Once the hard limit is reached, no printing will be allowed until the print balance issue is resolved. Note, once into a deficit amount, your student account will be charged.

Your print balance will be displayed on the computer screen for every print job. Additionally, a web link at the bottom of the BSC homepage is provided so your balance can be checked while on campus at any time.

Printing Costs

$0.07 per single-sided printed page
$0.10 per double-sided printed page (saving 28% as compared to 2 single-sided pages for $0.14)
$0.27 per color page
