- Last Number redial
- Three-way calling

A voice mailbox has been established for all resident students. Cost of the basic telephone and voice mail service is included in the room rent. The individual must provide his/her own telephone (a touch tone telephone is required to access voice mail service and calling features). Long distance service may be contracted by the student through Qwest. For additional information please refer to Long Distance Service. Please contact Helpdesk at X3033 for telephone questions.
Long Distance Service
Our long distance carrier is Qwest. Students who wish to take advantage of the College discount rates may contract for long distance service by:
- Completing an application at the time of registration
- Obtaining an application through the Residence Life Department, located in Norton
- Obtaining an application through the Switchboard Operator, located in the Security Office at the Bruno Entrance
- Contacting Qwest Customer Service at 1-800-860-8255
Long distance service is available on campus phones after the "Long Distance Service Agreement" has been completed and signed by the student, accepted by Qwest, and a Personal Authorization Code issued. Students are responsible for keeping their Calling Code confidential and for reporting its loss immediately to Qwest. International calling service is available through Qwest upon request.
Students may not set up individual long distance accounts with other long distance companies, utilizing their residential room number as the bill-to number.
Equal Access
Operator assisted calls from campus phones to locations outside this calling area are handled by Qwest. Consumers have a right to access the long distance carrier of their choice. 0+ or equal access calls through Other Common Carriers (OCC) may be placed from campus phones. OCCs may be reached by dialing the "800" number which they provide or the 5 digit equal access number, "1010xxx+0", assigned to that carrier. Contact your preferred carrier for access information. Please consult the BellSouth white pages for additional information.
