Director of Prospect Research

Birmingham-Southern College has an immediate opening for Director of Prospect Research.  The Director will lead the Institutional Advancement area in the management, maintenance, and growth of a comprehensive prospect research program.  Also responsible for developing research based campaign prospect lists, providing prospect information to Advancement staff on request, and supervising an Advancement Researcher.  Bachelor’s degree and five to ten years experience in researching, organizing and presenting information in an educational, business or related setting required.  Ideal candidate will possess excellent research and writing skills, effective communication and organization skills, and knowledge of how to search commercial on-line databases, Internet websites, and other resource materials.  Must be proficient in word processing and excel spreadsheets and be familiar with database entry.
