THE LAST FIVE YEARS

by Jason Robert Brown | September 29, 30, & October 01 & 02 | The Underground

A young ambitious couple who've entered into a whirlwind relationship find it eventually ends in disaster. Both characters explain their side of the story non-chronologically ... one starts at the beginning of the relationship; the other from the end ... both seeking to understand the time they've spent together for the last five years.

MILKING CHRISTMAS

by Brian Huther, Ben Auxier, Seth Macchi, Ryan McCall | November 17, 18, 19, & 20 | The Underground

It’s always been Swans-a-Swimming, Lords-a-Leaping, and Naughty and Nice lists in sweet, sleepy Christmastown.  But this holiday season, something just doesn’t seem right, and Macey Maid-a-Milking is on the case in this regional premiere of a new musical comedy.  This wacky Christmas mystery is a fun-filled farce celebrating the importance of cultivating community, asking questions, and clapping for Calling-Birds.

THE WOLVES

by Sarah DeLappe | February 09, 10, 11, & 12 | The Underground

An honest and thought-provoking look into young women’s lives, The Wolves follows a team of young women as they navigate the pressures of young adulthood, grapple with the reality of inter-personal and global politics, and seek to answer questions of identity and belonging as they warm-up for their soccer games.  The Wolves contains adult themes and is for mature audiences only.

THIS IS OUR YOUTH

by Kenneth Lonergan | March 09, 10, 11 & 12 | The Underground

Set in 1982, a young man steals thousands of dollars from his wealthy father and brings it to the apartment of his domineering, drug-slinging friend.  Together the boys use the money to make discoveries about women, status, mortality, and materialism while simultaneously feeling their way into the adult world.

Ordinary Days

by Adam Gwon | April 20, 21, 22 & 23 | The Underground

From the bustling streets to the quiet rooftops, Ordinary Days tells the story of four young New Yorkers whose lives are unexpectedly interconnected by circumstance.  The series of funny and fortuitous events in this intimate, fast-paced musical proves that ordinary days can be simply extraordinary.
