Department Chair: Professor Michael Flowers

The Department of Theatre and Dance combines two disciplines, both of which are production-oriented and based upon a solid classroom background in the study of the history, theory, and practical application of each area.

Annually, the department presents five to seven productions, ranging from the Student Choreography Workshop to Shakespeare to the Spring Dance Performance to a wide range of musicals.

All performances take place in the College Theatre, a unique facility with a split-revolve-lift stage and a small black-box performance space. In addition, dance classes take place in three large, air-conditioned studios in a facility adjacent to the College Theatre.
