Study Abroad

There is a wealth of information about study abroad, internships, and scholarships for students of any major on this website or in the Sklenar Center for International Programs at Birmingham-Southern College. This web site is designed to provide the information students need to locate and apply for a university or program abroad. Study Abroad Process:

• Maintain at least a 2.5 GPA

• Complete a full academic year at BSC

• Select from a range of Sklenar Center sponsored study abroad programs

• Complete the application process

• Register for IS 101A (Semester/Year) or IS101B (Interim/Summer) “Pre-Departure Topics for Study Abroad” to continue your Orientation to international education
