Opportunities Abroad
In addition to studying abroad, there are a number of other ways to experience another culture in a profound way while simultaneously learning by immersion and contributing your talents. Participating in international internships/work, volunteer work, and service-learning projects makes for a meaningful summer, interim, or post-graduate experience. Post-graduate fellowships and teaching positions provide an excellent means of funding international opportunities for those who meet the early application deadlines. Teach English conversation classes for a year in Hungary, work with the elderly in Chile, take graduate courses in South Africa on a Rotary Scholarship, research in the country of your choice with the Fulbright Program, and more.
