Internships and Work Abroad
International work and internships provide students with the opportunity to learn how to relate to people from different countries, meanwhile gaining valuable work experience in an increasingly interconnected world. The Sklenar Center for International Programs assists students interested in pursuing international careers with securing opportunities to work in foreign settings.
Internship placements occur during the summer and require students to commit to work at the host organization for at least six weeks. Depending upon the company or organization, internships may be paid or unpaid. Students have access to various international internship scholarships to help defray the costs of living/travel expenses.
International work opportunities range from short to long term and span a variety of fields. On this page you will find alisting of work options and resources. For teaching opportunities, visit our Post-graduate Opportunities page.
