Study Abroad Survey

The Latin American Studies program and the Sklenar Center have teamed up to raise the level of interest in studying abroad in Latin America.  Latin America is one of the most exciting and important regions of the world and we want our students to have international opportunities that enhance them personally and professionally.  For years, Birmingham-Southern College has offered faculty-led programs to Latin America during the January Exploration Term and the Sklenar Center has offered semester, year and summer programs for students interested in studying at universities throughout the region.  Our international offerings provide students with opportunities to learn from scholars of the region, to obtain native-like fluency in Spanish and other regional languages as well as to learn about the intercultural issues involved in living abroad with people in another culture.

We are very proud of our current students and alumni who have taken the opportunity to study and travel abroad in Latin America.  Three BSC faculty and staff have been invited to present on the study abroad experience in Latin America and they want to hear from students and alumni who have taken part in BSC programs in this region.  The attached survey will help them to share your voice and they would like to hear from you.  Please click the link below and enter your information  on the on-line survey.  It will take only 10 minutes to complete.  Thank you for helping us to share your story and to enhance BSC international programs in Latin America.
