Study Abroad Advising Week
October 1-5, 2012
Learn about study abroad options at BSC through next week at the Study Abroad Advising Sessions. Throughout the week, the Sklenar Center has scheduled drop-in meeting times with Anne Ledvina, associate director, Melanie Robinson, Study Abroad Peer Advisor and other BSC students recently back from study abroad to talk about any and all questions related to study abroad programs, courses, scholarships, internships and more. No appointment necessary and international snacks will be provided.
Whether you want to travel abroad or learn more about international culture right here on the Hilltop, we invite you to visit the Sklenar Center and get involved with the international community on campus.
We feel that international experience is fundamental to a liberal arts education and helps students develop academically, personally and professionally. All members of our college community should have the opportunity to travel abroad, meet people from other cultures, develop friendships and networks, and enhance their language skills.
Foreign travel is important, but it’s not all that the Sklenar Center does. We also advise international students and scholars and have a slew of global initiatives.
