The BSC Panther Pride Marching Band

Bring on the Band!

In 2008, football returned to the Birmingham-Southern College campus with a new stadium home—and a decisive Homecoming victory!band member

During the Fall of 2010, another tradition was restored: the Marching Band. Come be part of the BSC Panther Pride Marching Band as the tradition continues in 2011.

The Panther Pride Marching Band:

  • Open to all BSC students – Wind Instruments, Percussion, Color Guard, and any student with musical or dance talents

  • Offers scholarships to all members

  • Leadership opportunities

  • Perform at all home football games

  • Course credit to all members

  • Drumline, Color Guard, and Leadership camps available in the Spring of 2012 for interested students

$1,000 Participation Scholarship

All BSC students who participate in the Marching and Symphonic bands during the entire academic year receive a $1,000 annual participation scholarship!

Please note:  Future BSC students should submit their admission application by January 1, 2012, for priority consideration for membership in the Panther Pride Marching Band.
