17th Annual Latin American Studies Symposium

April 17-18, 2009

Please plan to attend the Seventeenth Annual Latin American Studies Symposium hosted by Birmingham-Southern College on April 17-18, 2009. This inter- and multi-disciplinary event is a unique opportunity for undergraduate students to present their research in a professional setting. The Symposium has grown to become one of the largest of its kind, attracting student presenters from colleges and universities nationwide. Throughout the years, the Symposium has brought to the audience renowned and engaging keynote speakers, and the event has become a rich opportunity for students and faculty to discuss a wide range of topics in Latin American Studies.

Faculty Participation:

We invite faculty members accompanying their students to serve as panel chair and discussants.

Accommodation:

There is a block of rooms reserved at the Days Inn located within a short distance from the College. The conference rate is $52.99 (1-2 persons) and $56.99 (3-4 persons) plus tax.
