Senior Capstones
Before graduating with the Distinction in Leadership Studies, each senior must complete a Senior Capstone, including a paper and twenty-minute public presentation on a leadership topic of his or her choice. Because students are encouraged to pick a topic that peaks their intellectual curiosity, Distinction in Leadership Studies Senior Capstones are very diverse, ranging from the study of successful grassroots advocacy movements to the impact of women's punk rock music on modern feminism to ethics of bribery in business leadership negotiations.
