Brief Career Background:

• Steinway artist and presenter
• Developed Classics for Children piano series
• First American winner of the “Vianna da Motta” competition in Lisbon, Portugal
• Has performed master classes in the United States, Taiwan, Israel, France, and other locations
• Recipient of two Mellon Foundation grants
• Co-author of Schumann: Solo Piano Literature, a comprehensive guide to the piano works of Robert Schumann
• Contributing author of A Symposium for Pianists and Teachers: Strategies to Develop the Mind and Body for Optimal Performance, published in 2002 by Heritage Music Press
