Financial Support for January Travel
Exploration Term Travel Awards
Birmingham-Southern College recognizes the benefit of study-travel experiences, whether through independent study or with a group from BSC, and we want students to realize their Exploration Term plans regardless of financial need. Therefore, the Student Government Association and the Office of Exploration Term and Contract Learning have set aside a limited amount of funds for Exploration Term travel awards. The funds are available to sophomores, juniors, and seniors who will be engaged in domestic or international study. Preference will be given to applicants with financial need and to those whose Exploration Term plans exhibit a strong academic component.
Interested students should complete an Exploration Term travel award application and return it to the Office of Exploration Term and Contract Learning no later than Friday, May 3, 2013. Please be as detailed as possible and attach an additional sheet if necessary.
