Exploration Term at Affiliated 4-1-4 Colleges
In addition to the projects offered at BSC each January, Birmingham-Southern students may take an Exploration Term course during the sophomore, junior or senior year at any one of 24 affiliated colleges whose schedules include a four-week term in January.
While studying at an affiliated 4-1-4 college, BSC students are considered transient students for just the Exploration Term. No additional tuition is charged; a room/board charge or transient admission fee may also be assessed by the affiliated institution.

Students from affiliated 4-1-4 colleges may attend Birmingham-Southern College courses during the Exploration Term. Students interested in attending a Birmingham-Southern Exploration Term course may peruse the January course offerings in the Exploration Term Bulletin., published in late September.
