The PLT is designed to asses a beginning teacher’s knowledge of a broad range of job related topics and is essentially a pedagogy test. The passing score set by our Department is 167. This test is a requirement of BSC’s Education Department and is not required by the Alabama State Department of Education. You must achieve a passing score in order to complete the Teacher Education Program.
