The BSC Entrepreneurship Scholars Program
Endowed by Jane and Kevin Stump
Calling all entrepreneurs!
Birmingham-Southern is pleased to offer the BSC Entrepreneurship Scholars Program. The program is for students who have demonstrated an exemplary entrepreneurial spirit through their work—both inside and outside of the classroom. Such work could include initiating a business plan or activity, developing a non-profit or service learning project, implementing a program in the fine arts, theatre, or music, or other creative endeavor.

The BSC Entrepreneurship Programs were endowed by Jane and Kevin Stump, both graduates of Birmingham-Southern College, with support from an existing endowed fund created by Joseph S. Bruno, to inspire resilience and creativity in the free enterprise system.
Kevin Stump's independent thinking and entrepreneurial drive have led to a successful professional career as founder, chairman, and CEO of Interconn Resources Inc. of Birmingham, one of the few private, independent natural gas marketing companies in the nation. Interconn has been recognized nationally and regionally for its focus on customer service.
