Ongoing Projects

To offer campus constituencies assistance in locating community service opportunities and connecting with local organizations

Projects

NorthStar Youth Ministries

Whether you would like to tutor students at local schools or learn more about the causes and effects of poverty, The Bunting Center provides a variety of ongoing service opportunities in which all students are invited to participate. Each project is student-initiated and student-coordinated and allows you to develop real relationships within community organizations while fostering and strengthening BSC's partnerships with the surrounding community. To get involved, simply contact the student coordinator listed on the project’s page.

If you have an idea for a project and would like to become a coordinator, come talk to us about it. The Bunting Center can connect you with local organizations and assist you in getting started. In the past, students have worked with Meals on Wheels, Woodlawn High School, and The Old Firehouse Shelter. All of the Ongoing Projects are student-initiated and student-run, but we encourage students to take advantage of our resources and relationships with community partners. We can help you plan the project and advertise it to the student body, and put you in touch with student-volunteers who may be interested.
