The Birmingham-Southern College Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter was founded in the Fall of 2009 as a way to encourage students to volunteer to build affordable housing in Birmingham as well as offer a way to educate BSC students about housing issues affecting the community around them. After the founding of the current BSC Habitat for Humanity Chapter in the fall of 2009, this student-led organization has grown to be one of the most popular ways that 'Southern students can become engaged with Birmingham community.

Commencement
Graduation weekend activities for the BSC Class of 2012 will commence on Friday, May 18, and end on Saturday, May 19, with a ceremony.
