Birmingham-Southern senior biology major Sarah Juliana will be headed into the medical field after finishing her education, but her patients will be of the four-legged variety.
Juliana's career plans include working with horses as an equine veterinarian and surgeon. She credits her classes and professors in the BSC Biology Department for helping her make great strides towards her goals.
“The biology department has helped me structure my undergraduate education so that I can take the prerequisites I need to get into vet school,” Juliana says. “I feel that the biology courses have prepared me for vet school intellectually and by providing me with the necessary study skills."
