Goal:
The Center for Teaching and Technology serves to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff who
- desire to integrate specific technology into their learning, teaching, and/or curricula.
- desire to gain experience with and/or increase their knowledge, skills, and abilities with specific technologies.
- desire assistance using technology in order to prepare a presentation (oral, written, or otherwise).
- desire to use a workstation for class work, research, or homework.
- desire to work in a quiet, scholarly environment utilizing the latest in hardware and productivity software with assistance available if needed.

College Owned Software and its Availability on Campus
While the Center places an emphasis on technology development for educators (using programs such as Assistive Technology and Concept Mapping), these resources are available for broader use across disciplines.
This Center has 21 computer and one teaching station. It is open at least 30 hours each week. The hours are posted on both sets of doors. Please realize that this Center always has assigned education classes daily. The technology assistants are available by appointment if you wish to come by and sign up in advance to assure the needed help. Or, you may drop by and see if the student on duty is available to help.
The schedule for ED470 - Technology in Education is posted on the door. If you care to join the class for specific instruction on PowerPoint, HyperStudio, FrontPage, posting web pages, or digital video shooting and editing, you are welcome.
We can provide assistance with:

The Center is located on the first floor of the Harbert building, right across from the auditorium.
