Academic Accommodations

The term academic accommodations refers to the resources provided by the College for students with disabilities, including assistance for sight- or hearing-impaired students and students with learning disabilities. Academic accommodations are arranged through the Office of Personal Counseling.

Qualified students are entitled by federal law to reasonable accommodations to help promote success.  Students are responsible for informing the Office of Personal Counseling of their disability by submitting a Request for Academic Accommodations form, including the required documentation of their disability.

Students are also responsible for discussing their needs with each instructor at the beginning of each term.
