If it is necessary to rent a car, car rental insurance is not needed.

The use of a personal automobile for travel is reimbursed at the IRS rate that is in effect
at the start of the fiscal year.

Reimbursement for meals will be limited to a maximum per diem amount established by
the Provost’s Office, and alcohol expenses are not reimbursable.
