Sports Center, Southern Environmental Center, and Dance Studio

The Birmingham-Southern Sports Center, which was home of the basketball Panthers from 1941 until the construction of Bill Battle Coliseum in 1981, houses offices and facilities for the men's basketball, men's and women's soccer, and men's and women's cross country programs, as well as locker rooms for visiting teams. The facilty also houses a studio for the academic dance program.

Located in the area of the old campus pool, the Southern Environmental Center consists of an Interactive Museum, Demonstration Recycling Station, and a four-acre EcoScape Outdoor Classroom. The Center will provide you with practical insights on ways that you can make a positive impact on the environment.
