General Krulak2015 Stump Lecture available online
BSC's president, Gen. Charles C. Krulak, spoke to a campus audience of some 500 students, faculty, staff, alumni, and guests on entrepreneurship April 9. He also talked about his father, U.S. Marine Gen. Victor "Brute" Krulak, and his example of leadership. Check out a video and picture gallery from the event.

Music students' talents to be showcased in one-act operas
The Birmingham-Southern Opera Theatre and Theatre programs will conclude their 2014-15 season with a production of Stanley Hollingsworth's The Mother and Ralph Vaughan Williams' Riders to the Sea, two one-act dramatic operas, April 24 & 26.

College sets stage for annual live jazz festival
BSC will hold its third annual "Jazz on the Hilltop" community festival on Sunday, April 19, from 4-7 p.m. on the academic quad, featuring local jazz band Clutch and jazz fusion guitarist Marc Antoine. Bring a picnic basket and enjoy the sounds of smooth jazz. Free admission; will be held rain or shine.

BSC vs Birmingham Barons

Rachel Buchan, a religion and psychology double major and Harrison Honors Scholar at Birmingham-Southern, has been awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to study abroad for a year. Buchan was selected for a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Turkey, where she will teach at the university level.
