Dr. Edward Leonard III began his official duties as president of Birmingham-Southern College this month. Leonard, who has more than 20 years of experience in higher education leadership, joins BSC from Bethany College in Kansas.

Birmingham-Southern College has been granted reaffirmation of its accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), officials announced recently.
